Students filming

First Person Productions

First Person Productions (FPP) provides New Media training and production to high school students with an emphasis on the development of a social enterprise. FPP has developed a media-training pathway for American Indian youth that will lead to higher education and careers focused on the application of 21st Century technical skills in the production and distribution of Indian content. Students complete 200 hours of media training as part of our Summer Media Institute and then can be hired as part of our Community Media Team to work with our professional staff to create media products for clients.

Give us a Project!

Our work includes PSA's, short films and documentaries on issues of importance to the community and assisting community nonprofits and businesses with promotional videos. Each of our artists completes a project during a summer media institute held at University of Minnesota media facilities. We are a local company run by a nonprofit and we care about the success of other local organizations, so please reach out to us any questions you may have or for your business' video/media production needs.
